I really like Trauma Center games. It's a surgery simulator using the DS touch screen.

The story is fairly melodramatic anime stuff. Bioterrorists attacking with super viruses, lots of over the top character growth.

Gameplay is fun surgery simulation, sew up wounds, laser tumors, etc. Most of the game is spent "fighting" the GUILT super virus(?) things which usually feel more like battling an enemy than healing a person. You also have the "Healing Touch" aka slow down time for a bit.

Only criticisms are that some of the GUILT are really rough to fight (Deftera and Triti...), some of them need you to do things in a particular order that the game does not communicate well, and the game is just really hard, especially towards the end.
