The first Dragon Quest game! Note that I left DQIV because I actually beat it on my own time, relatively recently, outside of any P255 challenges and I did not want to replay it.

The unique features of this one are that it takes place across multiple "generations" in the main character's life - childhood, adulthood, having children of his own. There's also a monster catching system which was very influential on other games e.g. pokemon.

This is a long RPG and it was somewhat the victim of circumstance with me not summoning up the energy to get through it.
